Our unique tea room is spacious and bright with its high ceilings and walls adorned in whimsical decor and hints of pretty vintage flair. Whether you are looking for a venue for a bridal or baby shower, a birthday celebration or a milestone our Party Afternoon Tea menu package is tailored to suit your special occasion.

Can we choose a menu? What is the price?
We want your special moment to be a celebration of uniqueness and beauty. That’s why we designed the Party Afternoon Tea set which includes everything from delightful food to beautiful presentation on our Celebration Vintage Teaware Collection to pretty flower arrangements and a tea selection curated by our Tea Sommelier. The menu is available for groups with over 8 guests only, however if your party is smaller and you would really like to celebrate with the Party Afternoon Tea please let us know. The price is $35 p/p (not including taxes and gratuity) and it is the only menu offered for group events with over 8 guests.
How many guests can you accommodate for a private party?
Our Eatery & Tea Parlour seats up to 48 guests, and The Cafe seats a maximum of 12 guests. Together the rental of the entire restaurant for a private party has a max capacity of 60 guests. Private rentals are available after hours between 4.30 p.m. – 6.30 p.m. with add-on hour options.
My party is for 15-20 people, what’s a girl to do?
You have the option of renting the restaurant for a private party after hours or you may celebrate during our regular open hours. During our open hours the largest table seats 10 guests together or up to 16 guests at two separate large tables at an intimate section of the Tea Parlour.
What is your pricing for private rental?
The price for private venue rental is $150 for up to two hours and $45 for each additional hour (for a maximum of 4 hours). There is a minimum requirement of 20 guests at $35 p/p before taxes and gratuity. Private rentals are available after hours between 4.30 p.m. – 6.30 p.m.
Are you licensed?
No, we are not at this time.
Can put up decorations?
Unfortunately, we do not allow decorations to be put up at Venus Sophia.
Do you have a projector or TV?
Unfortunately, we do not have a projector or TV at Venus Sophia, and guests are not allowed to set up their own.
>Can we bring a band?
Not at this time. We always play wonderful music to enhance your unique European dining experience. If you are renting the restaurant for a private event you may bring play your own playlist via your ipod, smartphone or tablet hooked up to our amazing music system.
